911 930 Supersport SSE Restoration
Most UK 911 930s will need some restoration in the cars life. Always have a classic inspected unless you know what you are looking for.
Check the front wings around the lights as these are a rot hot spot. Also, any less than professional repairs will result in issues later on down the line. If a classic 911 needs a new wing, always use genuine and this will cost you around £1300 each.
Another issue 930's suffer from is the front boot flooring. The bottom of the doors can also be a rust hot spot as are the A-posts and B-posts.
However one of the biggest issues is the battery area and around it. In the 70s and 80s car batteries were not at the standard they are today and any leaked or spilt battery acid will rot the battery tray and wing.
If you buy a classic that needs restoration like this, be prepared to pay for it as this is a big job to do correctly.
